Over the past few years, Alec has established himself as one of Australia’s most notable up and coming directors. Recently winning ABC’s, “Gruen – The Pitch,” the self-taught 28-year-old has also won awards for Narrative, Documentary and Music work at a number of domestic and international film festivals, including, but not limited to, the Europe Film Festival, Australian Independent Film Festival and, St Kilda’s very own, Under the Radar Festival. 

In 2025, Alec sold out Como Cinema with a 170-seat double premiere of his two latest short films, both now being submitted to festivals worldwide. Outside of his directing career, Alec has worked as a Runner and Production Assistant on major commercial campaigns for some of Australia’s biggest brands, as well as on feature films such as Late Night with the Devil.

He has since embarked on a creative journey through Europe and is currently based in Berlin, where he is focused on expanding his network and honing his craft.

With big ideas and an even bigger heart, Alec aspires to collaborate with world-class creatives to produce long-form content that carries a voice and ideas capable of shaping the way we think.
